Our Story

We use only the best ingredients that keep customers coming back.

What started several decades ago making homemade chocolates for friends and family has become a popular candy shop at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market in Edmonton, AB. The father-daughter partnership Doug (The Candyman) and Melinda started selling their treats at the Market in 2000. Over the years, our product line has grown and our candies have been shipped to many places around the world. Our chocolates and peanut brittle have become a tradition for many, especially at holiday time. Over time, Doug's wife Marlene joined in the chocolate making and grandson Eric was a fixture at the booth. Following Doug's sudden death in 2010, the family joined together to carry on. Now Melinda, Marlene, brother Cam and his wife Judy as well as Melinda's husband J.-P. and their kids Eric and Elizabeth all join together in the candy-making business. We look forward to seeing you soon at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market.
